Poor elegance & grace I wonder what they did that got them excluded!0 -

I was sent this by an estate agent, clearly no one told these sellers how important photos are and to declutter before they were taken!
They were obviously still recovering from the party!0 -

Myself I could not live without a washing line, or whirly gig-if I had some outside space, much better than having wet washing weighing down an airier inside.
.....slinks off to put the washing out now..........:j0 -

Must say my first thought on spotting the 40th birthday banner was "The owner is too old to still be in a starter house". I was a good bit older than that when I sold my starter house last year and certainly didn't want any age-specific stuff showing that fact in my case (as I feared it would be translated, perfectly correctly, into "Has been hating the place and planning to move on for some time"). Best to think someone has loved their home and then they might have put a load more time/attention etc into it......
Though the stuff lying around generally does help show up that the house is too small (ie too small for virtually anyone in fact).0 -

Depends. I was 27 when I bought my starter house. Just after me, two couples moved into the cul de sac. They're still there, probably drawing pensions, though one has a same sex partner nowadays!
Since those houses are worth over £300k and originally cost under £20k, they're not exactly trapped. They've probably stayed because they like it.
For some people the housing ladder is more of a step-stool. Getting it right first time has merit, though the house posted probably doesn't.0 -
I know coal isn't such a popular fuel these days, but having your own mine must surely count for something.
'The property internally and externally is of a high standard, benefits from two garages one with a working pit...'

Still looks a bit overpriced for the area, though, despite the twigs. :cool:0 -
I love those pictures. At last, someone who is even more untidy than I am!0

Cosy that house isn't....
I notice the bit about a "studio". First thought "recording studio", second one "an artists studio". Either way...someone got that house to their exact specific requirements by the look of it and has only just finished it and is now selling-up. Would be checking out closely what their reason for selling was...0
