My parents' former neighbours took their water butt with them when they moved. My dad saw his former neighbour about a week after they moved in B&Q buying a water butt. Turns out the former neighbour had to buy a narrow one as the one they removed was too wide for the recess between the house and the fence:rotfl::rotfl::D:D
Just being petty, I think - possibly because we declined to pay OTT for the old curtains and blinds to be left. The guy who bought my old house paid a visit in the morning, ostensibly just to say hello, but really I guess to check that there were no such issues, shame we didn't do the same, although I think they had gone by that stage anyway.
Serves your parents' former neighbour right :rotfl:0 -

Why would you paint the back of the house sexy pink? (pic 10)?
Maybe they thought it added some colour to a dark corner of the garden. It doesn't look like that area gets much light.
I'm wondering how they get round the bed in pic 8 and who could sleep in there with the picture at the foot of it.0 -

..and the only things that aren't 1970s throughout is at least the bathroom fittings are white.
But then....I'm still holding to my theory that many of us get our final homes together in accordance with the decade in which we get them. Hence wondering what the next owner of my house will think in 2030s/2040s when they walk into my current house and think "Pure 2010s in style. Wonder why they all did such HUGE bathroom tiles then?"0 -
Photo 2 in estate agent's window caught my eye, not as old as it looks:

In addition to the other comments, I'd go for a straightforward asking price. The 'offers over...' type of prices often confuse people, especially FTBs, who think that they should offer a penny over the asking price.
And some think the exact opposite, I remember having the discussion when a house came onto the market as "Offers over 100K". I was told "They are probably looking for around 110K - 115K", so I offered 102, it was accepted, and then painted the walls magnolia, new bathroom suite and put it back on the market for 139K. Sold within 2 weeksEasiest money ever made.

I think they should have tried to build a bigger fireplace in this house(pic 4):
