There's no pictures for upstairs. Do you think they took the staircase too?

Esp with the potential to make £200k+ profit based on the sold prices. Allowing £50-70k to fix it up.

    Hmm-you've got me thinking now!

It's located in one of the most desirable streets in Falmouth. I think this one is next door to it so it shows what it could be like

I wonder if I could get a mortgage large enough to cover the renovation costs....?

So, agent must've been physically challenged, or a Dalek.

Surely, no one would be so unprofessional or lazy that they couldn't be bothered to walk up a flight of stairs.....

My last house was like that. They took the light fittings, all the curtain rails and even left holes all over the garden where they dug up and took all the rose bushes and plants!

I had one that took all the door furniture, the window keys, the lightbulbs and the outside bins and left a broken stinking dishwasher :(
There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.

When I bought my current house, (NOT a repo) the sellers took all the lightbulbs, removed and took all the curtain poles (leaving big holes in he walls) and dumped their old fridge in the garden *without removing the food which had been in it when it broke down* (and it had stopped working about 3 weeks before completion, and I moved in late May in a warm spring...)

They clearly hadn't *ever* cleaned the oven - I think they must never have cooked anythign except pizza- there was a heap of carbonized cheese and who knows what else in the bottom of the cooker which was about 4 inches tall at it's peak. They also ripped out a carpet which was supposed to be included in the sale, leaving the carpet grippers (?) (Those little upwards-facing spiky boards..)

They who were outraged when they had to pay for the cost of their various breaches of contract!!

Mercifully, I had been staying temporarily with my parents and had planned to get some rewiring and redecorating done before I moved in, so at least I wasn't on the doorstep with a removal van when I discovered that one of the bedrooms was unihabitable.

The less said about the level of cleanliness in the house when I got the keys, the better. (the downside of a Dyson is that you can *see* just how much crud is coming up off the floors!)
