How do you get to that toilet? It appears to be on the second floor but on the floorplan there aren't any stairs shown on that level. Or the basement!0 -

Houses were often like that in East London and other places. My husband grew up in a house with an outside toilet and a bath in the kitchen covered with a worktop. All the other houses in the area were the same. His mother had the jpining wall knocked down to bring the toilet inside and have a downstairs shower fitted separately to the kitchen as recently as about 20 years ago. There are many variants on the conversion, I've not been aware of a house with an outside toilet for a long time now. Brrrrr, nightimes in the snow ... brrrrrr
