B*U*T .... 'tenure mainly leasehold but ground rent not collected for many years'. A bit dodgy perhaps?

It's a shame I can't post links because this is a winner on zoopla - search SA2, 4 beds, 190,000. Then check out picture 5.0

He'd be very useful if you needed to crack a few coconuts.
If you're feeling a bit down this flat would soon have you in the pink!

Classic probate property. But hideous combos of wall colours and curtains in pic 7. Same paint in the bathroom with an aqua suite. Not to mention wooden effect walls in the other rooms.
Curious how much the house would be worth after updated as a 1 bed flat with one receiption room in a former brewery is up for sale for £40k less!
Every time I spot a probate property I wonder if one day someone will think that about mine (ie the house I am currently ripping to shreds renovating, as it was a probate property)
I've just got these visions of an estate agent at some point, presumably, in the 2030s or 2040s selling off my house and people thinking "Oh yes...classic 2010s style:rotfl:". I have a theory that, when people move into their final home, they get it exactly as they want it and then pretty much leave it alone after that....or is that just what I can see myself doing?:rotfl:0 -
