PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Not convinced a surveyor would be able to access enough of the property to make a survey worthwhile, and not convinced that the property would be cleared before completion ... nightmare!0

Along the same lines, this is by far the most amazing transformation I've ever seen:
Before:
redfin .com/WA/Seattle/12730-9th-Ave-NW-98177/home/291154/nwmls-423607
After:
redfin .com/WA/Seattle/12730-9th-Ave-NW-98177/home/291154

They haven't just cleaned up and decluttered - they've completely rebuilt the place. The view over the roof tops (Pic 1 both times) is the only similar thing in both sets of photos.
Wow. What a difference money and hard work makes. Although, the skies may be photoshopped.......:p:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

I find this rather sad, it looks like someone's life that has been trashed. All their books and files and papers and clothes turned over and deserted. I wonder what the story is?

I don't know if my discomfort at this entrance marks me as a paranoid urbanite. Look at all those wide open spaces and no secure looking front to hide behind. Aaaargh, it's all glass! http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-27970965.html
