Still unsure whether I like this next one, but it certainly is something a bit special. Built and lived in by the architect Seymour Harris, but looks a lot different now.
That bath!
That lounge!
The whole back wall of the lounge is the where the tv screen is projected. You can just see the centre speaker and the built in speakers either side.

The house also has it's own website which is well worth a look to see how the house has changed over the years.

Remember that oh so catchy ditty 'Barbie Girl' by Aqua? well I can't stop humming it now!
My daughter would love this - but she is only six0 -
"Imagine Owning John Lennon's first home?!"
All interested parties are advised that the property will be sold by Auction. Viewing appointments will be arranged at set times due to the world-wide interest this unique property is expected to generate!!

Im curious what do people think that house would go for. Typically they are selling for £140k in this street
Edit: Just seen last sold price
Latest Purchase Price: £100,000 (22 Mar 2010)
So not really that important then!
Remember that John Lennon house listed for auction with a guide of £150,000. Was sold for £480,000 in the end!
And the current owner bought it only a couple of years ago for a ton!
Amazing profit!!

And why is there a gap between the top of the wall & the ceiling?
Could that be the downstairs WC and it 'borrows' light from the hall light?0 -
Always fascinated by the legal profession? How about a one bedroom flat styled as a solicitor's office? zoopla.co.uk/ to-rent/details/31695895 (sorry new to posting on here so can't post links)0

I sort of love this, but seriously, over 8 floors, and NO LIFT?

It's very expensive for what it is. There is a former water tower near to where I used to live and that had a 2 floor extension to the side of it - and it had a lift. I think it was on 5 floors.
No need to go to a gym with living in that property!0 -

Mmmm, it's a lovely building - but one room on each floor and my pet hate, exposed stone internal walls......no, not for meMortgage-free for fourteen years!
