I wonder what they felt picture 13 added to the particulars? And whether anyone will make an offer conditional on that item being part of the deal.
Yep, another of those oh so necessary *arty shots* lol! That was nothing to do with us, btwWe've used that particular EA a couple of times ourselves (but not when we sold that house) and fortunately they didn't apply that tactic to our transactions

Again, a nice house and seems to be good vfm, but having relocated to a part of Essex not far from here a few years back (and now thankfully escaped!), it's not somewhere I'd choose to live however attractive a prospect the house may seem
It IS the part of Essex I live in and I love it! OH wants to move but I love our little town.0 -

Does anyone know the area? I'm curious if this is a typical house price for that coast, or whether the fact that there is a nuclear power plant practically on your doorstep helps keep prices low. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Sellafield=nuclear Leak, Cherobyle=Leak
The two are in no way comparable in scale, but it's fair to say that the leaks at Sellafield have raised concern internationally and made people wonder about heightened childhood leukaemia rates there.
People react somewhat irrationally to reactors, so while they might not wish to live in Seascale, most appear to have no worries about living within, say, 10 miles of the power stations on the Severn Estuary. If one of those went paridae-up, Chernobyl style, everything within 20 miles would be in an exclusion zone, probably for centuries.0
