i went into woolworths with my son to spend his xmas vouchers he got a gameboy advance for xmas so wanted to get few more games there was an offer on the end of the isle with games about 10 different ones so i picked 2 up qued 10 mins and was told that havent even had them in yet i asked so why are they on the shelf i stated the fact they were selling stuff they did not have to sell the lady did not care so i took 6 more up there qued 20 mins this time and suprise they had none of them so in the end she pulled all the games which were on offer out and there was 2 so i took them 2

how do i go about the unhelpful member of staff and complain about the way they were selling stuff they hadent even got in the shop yet?

Get a grip, this happens all the time.
Over zealous shop assistants putting out dummy boxes without checking whether they have the actual stock.

Same thing happened last week when my 2 DD's wanted to buy Nintendo DS's with their xmas money. Why do they put them on the shelf if they are out of stock?

no but try and tell that to a crying 5 yr old, who after waiting 20 mins to pay is told sorry not in stock. it's then 5.25 pm and shops are shutting so you can't go elsewhere to get the games. no it's not crime of the century but it's very annoying.

Well you tell that to my 6 year old daughter who was crying this afternoon when having spent 10 mins queuing up was told the 2 games she had chosen were both out of stock . So no , it isn't over zealous shop assistants , it seems to me it's standard procedure in Woolworths .

And from your get a grip and move on with your life comments , I take it you aint got kids !
