Candy buffet @ wedding

I had a sweet buffet at our wedding in february and it was brilliant. I chose to have sweets that we liked rather than colour coordinated ones and just bought vases from charity shops. We got the sweets from sweetswholesale.com but bought far to many (still eating them now 6 months later!). Bought the scoops and bags from eBay pretty cheaply. Will try and find a picture for you

you could have a divorce party with a candy buffet

I didn't have a candy buffet but I ordered a huge box of candy from 'A Quarter Of' (they were really great in delivery by the way, and cheap), and just told our venue to put the candy on the tables next to the place names however they liked. It was instead of favours, and our guests loved it and got into trading/bartering for different sweets, and I'm fairly sure one of my bridesmaids ended up with more than her fair share

Cost about £35 for a wedding of 100. Much cheaper than favours or a candy buffet!0 -

The jar that's in the post above - you can buy them from the pound shop.
Have you tried Makro or Costco for the sweets?
My little boy had a party the other week and I spotted the long jelly snakes in the pick and mix in local supermarket, I weighed one and it was about 35p - I got a massive wholesale bag from Makro for £5.99 and it had about 65 snakes in!0 -

Have you tried like combo box of sweets like this ones - thegobstopper.co.uk/gift-ideas/wedding-sweets-and-favours ? It comes packed so you need to spend time picking and mixing yourself, unless of cause, you enjoy the whole pick n mix process:)0
