Hiya,
I am getting married in a few months and looking to have a candy buffet at the reception. I am doing it myself and was just wondering if anyone has any moneysaving times sites i could purchase items for it.
Any help appreciated.

the delivery charge on the candy from America would be expensive..

but if you want to buy some sweets, have you tried sites like 'a quarter of' ? they mainly do old sweets but do them in hampers http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/retro_sweet_hampers.php0 -
Thanks for the post scheming_gypsy. Im looking for websites who sell, scoops, tongs, sweet bags & tags etc. I have jars from ikea and my local bookers to fill them with sweets. Also looking for folk who have maybe done it themselves to give me ideas for my table decoration.
Thanks again0 -

Lol Pimento, we are still having the usual meal and evening buffet. There will be 12 children at the wedding including my 2 and thought it would be nice to have something for them and also for the big kids. Ive seen something about candy buffets on here before but nothing recently.

I had huge martini glasses as centre pieces filled with retro sweets. I got it from a company so not totally mse however I did manage to get them to halve the price and paid £150 for all 11 centre pieces which was much cheaper than the flower quotes. The adults loved them and were trading between tables which helped with the mingling.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Don't have the bags, grown ups feel silly using the bags so they don't, they just look longingly at the table! Have little dishes or bowls of some sort.0

Have a google for "sweet wholesale" or "sweet scoop wholesale" etc. You can buy anything on the net these days!0
