How long does it take for the bags of milk to defrost, do you just live it in the fridge as opposed to on the worktop to defrost (silly question) probably......

It may also lead to cheaper milk for customers ....

What do you mean 'may' lead to cheaper milk. Producing milk in plastic bags either saves resources or it doesn't. If it does, then the milk will be cheaper, if isn't actually any cheaper, then it likely doesn't save any resources.

I purchased the jug from sainsburys a couple of weeks ago. In the last 10 days I have opened 2 bags of semi skimmed milk in it which were off when I poured it out. All lumpy ewww. The first time I was busy, didn't noticed and drank it bleugh !

Maybe I've just been unlucky but it's really put me off using the bags :-(

    Regards

sainsburys do all the "colours" i mean full fat semi and fat free, they also do a orange colour as well which i think is between the blue and green for fat. hope you understand all that!
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

When i was in Canada most of their milk came in bags unless you wanted to pay for the expensive farmer type brands which came in cartons. I thought it was quite weird when I saw it, so funny to see it here now. However havent seen it in my local Sains yet.

More than 20 years ago, I have seen widespread use of polythene milk bags in South India. I wonder why it took so long for UK to catch up.

Just for info dogs should only have goats milk as there little tummies cannot process cows milk, my squiggle enjoys a cup of tea every morning with goats milk.

My parents' dog has had cows for the past 14 years and it has never caused a problem.

Because it's been tried before in the UK and failed to catch on.
