They could only offer overnight on the way out. My daughter has anaemia and gets exhausted easily. I said she wouldn't manage without a bed, which is true. It does make her very wiped out at times and she sleeps a lot.

I have also won a weekend in France with this comp in Toulouse!

It was one of the first ones that I entered which is why I initially forgot to thank the op.

But thanks a million and I have sent a pm! I can't believe that I have won such a nice prize so quickly!

"We are delighted to inform you that you have won the Maison de la France competition featured in The Independent Magazine on 25th November 2006. Your prize is as follows:

Return first class rail tickets from London Waterloo or Ashford Kent to Toulouse.

2 nights in the 3 star Novotel Centre Toulouse hotel. Double room. Breakfast included.

    2 city passes.

The prize is for 2 people and is valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, subject to availability. The prize must be taken before 30th June 2007."

    And grats Prudent!!!

A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!
