    I cannot believe how bad it is. I bought a wii back in February and just about got one but sold it in march so i could get a PS3. How much do i regret that. At least everyone in my family liked the wii.

    I have bought one off ebay last night for £228 which is not to bad in which i am collecting today or tomorrow as the guy lives on the same road of where i work but he has loads of uk versions in stock. I will make him an offer for 3 or 4 wiis as there are loads of people desperate for them.

    Who will have stock today - my guess is john lewis

    hello everyone, im new to the boards, i have looked for a wii everywhere for my kids for xmas, i know i shouldnt of left it so late but i really didnt think they would sell out as they were released so early. ive queued at toys r us yesterday morning at 8am only to be told they had all been allocated at 6am i cant really afford to pay over the odds so ebay is out of the question, i dont know what to do !! help!

    Just keep checking online stores etc, they come and go..

    Know a few stores that have had them sitting there ready to go, depends how good you look :)

    yes thats what im doing ive got the wii checkers running and stuff and im constantly checking the major stores i just havent been lucky yet but ill keep trying! does anyone think its worth buying one from spain? my mother in law is going to benidorm next week and im tempted to ask her to get me one will they work ok in uk??

    I was in the same position and managed to get one yesterday morning on JL.com - keep refreshing or use one of the stock alert websites mentioned earlier in this thread.
