You can track DHL Germany via DHL.com and put the tracking number in
It will tell you where it is up to the point of getting to the UK - destination country
It then gets annoying cos UK have a seperate tracking number and i didn't know that until i got a note saying tried to deliver and u have to use that number when calling - plus DHL is split into 3 seperate delivery systems over here
Must say it turned up early for me - due 16/11 arrived 15th0 -
A little off topic but I ordered a camera from Amazon that was meant to be delivered on the 9th Nov but i didnt get it until the 15th so dont give up yet
Dunno if its still the backlog from the postal strikes that are causing problems as Amazon are usually very reliable.
I'm still waiting for something from Play.com that was posted on the 8th
Amazon don't use Royal Mail - was headline news when they lost that contract! They use Home Delivery Network when they deliver to me.The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -

Hi. Changing the direction of this thread a little, I have written to Nintendo UK, regarding the illegality of them prhibiting Amazon from sending Wiis to the UK. The text of this letter is below. I will keep you informed of updates.
At this stage, please do not send them the same letter by bombarding them. We will do that later if required. Lets see what they get back to us with.
Please PM me if you have email addresses for Nintendo's legal department, or if you have numbers for Media Outlets who may be interested in this.
Dear Sirs,
We have confirmation in writing, from Amazon.de that pressure was put on them by Nintendo, to stop sending their Nintendo Wiis to the UK. This is also obvious from the fact that other consoles, such as Playstations and X-boxes which come under the same category are still being sent to UK addresses. My understanding of EU Competition Laws is that no firm should act in a way so as to deter the free movement of goods between EU countries.
Under Articles 81 of the Treaty of the European Community (TEC) it is prohibited to engage in anti-competitive practices which has an effect on the EU (or, since 1994, the European Economic Area)
Furthermore, The Treaty establishing the European Community provides for the free movement of goods within the EU Internal Market. All customs duties and charges with similar effect are prohibited in the trade between Member States. In addition to that, all quantitative import restrictions and measures with a similar effect are also banned (Article 28). As prohibiting export of Nintendo Wiis from UK and Germany increase prices in the UK, it has a similar effect to custom duties and charges and his hence illegal.
I thus beleive Nintendo is acting in an illegal manner and must fix its ways immediately. I urge you to allow Amazon.de and Amazon.fr as well as any other companies with whom you have acted in an anti-competitive manner to continue sending items to the UK, as soon as possible.
If I do not receive a satisfactory reply by close of business on Tuesday 20th November, this matter will be referred to Media outlets as well as Euro MPs, whereby further action maybe taken on this matter.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind Regards,
A**m L****L**H

Excellent - I've already spoken to my Euro MP's office - and they are quite happy to look at the matter too as I also have an email from Amazon.de stating that they stopped dispatching to UK due to Nintendo pressure.0

i`m not after a wii myself but i would like to see nintendo hauled over the coals for this,as its quite clear that there the ones who are creating this shortage in the uk.0

Here you go - apparantly the first class mail still comes from Royal Mail. I never pay extra for postage though - always go with super saver cos thats more money saving :money: !
