Hi. It is a company, has some feedback: http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=bintabe2007&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller

Also payment is by paypal and you are protected. If you do not receive the items you can claim your money back, which I have had to do with someone else before and I got my money back.
  • The guy could withdraw all funds from their paypal account, wait 4-5 days to credit their bank. By the time buyers would question where the wii is and cause complaint, paypal will only try and retrieve the money from the sellers paypal account. If it's empty, they only wait until the account has enough money in it next time. - Basically he could empty his paypal and never return again! I've heard that happen to people in the past - bbc watchdog a couple of times have had similar complaints.

    80 wii's at £180 = £14,400 - very suspect

Wow - he's sold 22 in one day (so far) - I hope he's genuine cos that's a lot of money he's scammed if he's not. I can't see how he can make any money on that price after paypal/ebay fees which is why I'm worried it's a scam. Can he just grab the money and disappear if all details are false?

there were some posts on here about wii's starting at 99p on ebay. i dont think things of that sort of value should be bought from ebay to be honest. you just never know.

If he was paid by bank transfer or direct into their bank account then they can just do a runner, but with Paypal it takes 7-9 working days to withdraw funds so they cant really just run.

But if the buyer doesn#t make a claim that nothing has been received within a week or so then they could have the funds and nothing can be done really.

I very much doubt it is genuine but you never know.

My friend recently bought some Ugg boots and it was from someones account which had been hacked, the police are now investigating this and at least 60 people got boots off this seller, she is still waiting for her money back

I would wait until the seller has feedback from all those Wii's that have been sold before I would buy

I hope they paid by Credit card via Paypal because Paypal do not get the money back if it isn't there. I look.ed at the 'shop' he has and it wouldn't make me any less wary about the seller - anyone can open an ebay shop. I hope I am wrong, but I think he's going to run with the money. :(

Alot of Wii's on ebay start at 99p because the seller knows how sought after they are and that they will go over rrp and most likely double rrp.

Also 99p start auctions will get more people interested than starting at £179.99.

    Everyone loves a bargain.

I agree, ebay used to be full of bargins, these days there are alot of geniune sellers but also alot of scammers. The most i would spend on ebay is about £20 because thats the most I am prepared to lose.
