It shouldn't :-

If the wii has been modified and/or tampered with.
i think you would find that changing the plug would mean it had been modified from the original sale product. therefore, point 4 would invalidate the warranty if you changed the plug. The wii would not work without power supply, therefore the plug can't really be seen as an ancillary. its an integral part of the unit.:j Coupon Queen:jSaved £3880 since Feb 05 stopping nicotine!!!Spent £3880 on shoes & bags since Feb 05!!!!0 - This Warranty shall not apply:

Sorry, don't think that would hold. For ANY electrical item you might change a plug - for instance on hi-fi/consoles you might change one to use a multiblock power adaptor, or on anything at all if you damaged the original plug, neither of which should invalidate the warranty... German and UK consoles have exactly the same voltage requirement (because they ARE the same console) so changing the plug over should cause you no warranty issues.
IMHO, of course :rolleyes:0 -

Just returned (last night) from a business trip from Paris; and lo and behold a pile of Wii consoles in the Virgin shop in Terminal 2B of Charles de Gaulle - so we are now the proud owner of one of them! (Terminal 2B is where BA fly from, not sure about the terminals).0

I am about to reply that I think they are breaking the european treaty - and that I will contact my euro MP - let see that happens!0 -
And if anyone is struggling with the language, like I was? Try opening another window and using the google translate tool. You can't always translate full pages - but using copy and paste you can do whole blocks of text.
Has anyone else gone down the complaints route?0 -
I received my wii from amazon.de yesterday morning. Wonder why they are chopping and changing their policy.:beer:0
