Nope, mine included everything... i.e. batteries, remote, games etc etc.

3A should do - 13A and you risk it not blowing if it needs to. Although mine is working fine with a 1A fuse in a standard shaver adapter.

just ordered one from amazon.de, getting it delivered to my pal in Germany who is coming over for a visit in two weeks time. Thanks to everyone for the advice...and what fun trying to understand the German Amazon website!

I spent a year living and working in Germany, when I came back to the UK I simply chopped the German plugs off of all the appliances and fitted UK ones, no reason why you need a shaver adaptor or convertor for the wii, the 2 pin plug is on a fly lead off from the transformer, just chop off the plug and fit a UK standard one!

one i ordered for my friend arrived today too. she is well pleased!
another one wanted one, and i went on to buy one, only can't now! i will have to read back this thread and find out why i can'tget one from amazon.de now!

It shouldn't :-

1. This Warranty shall not apply:
   1. If a compliance label has been removed from the Wii™ or a serial number or other details have been removed or rendered illegible.
   2. If the Wii™ is connected to any voltage other than shown on the compliance label or unapproved and unlicensed products are used with the Wii™.
   3. If the Wii™ has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accident or want of care.
   4. If the Wii™ has been modified and/or tampered with.
   5. If a repair has been made or attempted to the Wii™ by the purchaser or their agent.
   6. If the Wii™ fails due to causes unrelated to defective materials, workmanship or manufacturing.
   7. If the Wii™ is not used at all times in accordance with the Wii™ Operations Manual or other documentation provided by Nintendo.

None of the above apply, so warranty should still apply, warranty only specifies modification of the Wii, not the ancillaries.

if you are on ebay and you list an item for it's retail price, and someone CHOOSES to bid it up way beyond that price, how is the seller at fault?
