They had some in HMV York today...don't know if they still do...

£275 with 3 games and memory card...
  • Just noticed that now there are so many on ebay they have started selling for a lot less then they were just yesterday. Some selling for just over £200.
  • thanks so much - im going to phone up tommorrow to see if they are in - i'd given up looking at the 'massive thread' so i appreciate you posting!

  • i've just watched them at just over £200 until the last few minutes when the serious bidding starts and takes them up to £260+
  • People are switching onto the idea, what happends in 3 weeks when the overseas stock run dry, and nolonger imported to the uk, as nintendo have told them not to supply the UK, as they want to drive the demand up.

I think im gonna sit tight on this Wii, if prices go the way i want them too, then maybe ill consider selling, if not then we can keep it and get it out to play with..

Noticed Uk spec power adaptors for £7.90 on the internet, including power pack..

You know I mentioned doing this earlier on this thread, heard nothing back so thought maybe a bad idea.
What the cost of the trip & I take it you are going via car so planning on filling the boot up....what's the score bringing them in, how many are you allowed do you suppose or more to the point how many will they allow you to buy.

    Sorry soooo many questions

Ferry £25, fuel about £20. I don't think there are limits to how many you can bring back as it's EU. How many they will let me buy is another story, we shall see how many I can get away with.

Will let you know how it goes!
  • My DH called into Gamestation (Torquay) today, I'm not sure if this is an independant or national store, where they did have stock of Wii bundles, you got the console & 2 games for £250.

    HTH someone
  • Mine arrived today from amazon.de - huge thanks to everyone who posted about it and especially to the guy who did the translation that gave me the courage to order from there.

*edit* do I need to buy anything else (apart from the plug converter) or is everything I need included?

Know how you feel Mandy. Many thanks for posting this pedro!

Glad you managed to get one :)

All you need is the plug adapter - I got one from Focus DIY for £2.50 - they call it a shaver adapter but it works perfectly even though it says "for shavers and toothbrushes only" on it.

    Cheers,

    Chris
