I got one in Tesco's in Carlisle yesterday, they had 13 at £179.98

Should of bought them all up, then sold them on eBay with a £179.98 starting price with a 1 day listing.

Even better, sold them a week before christmas.

At the end of the day, were here to make / save cash.

If people cannot be bothered to wait until after christmas thats there own fault. Though i am seriously considering listing mine on eBay, and snapping one up in Jan 08 in the sales..

Thankyou all for your quick and helpful replies. I'll keep you updated once I find out what on earth DHL have done with my wii!

I too have a problem with DHL.I ordered from Dixons last week.DHL attempted delivery twice and then decided to release parcel to another courier service who do not have tracking system and do not answer the phone:mad:
I chased this up with Dixons who have contacted me this morning to inform me that the parcel has got lost in transit.... no offer of another wii or compensation in any form.
They haven't even offered to send me another one when they come in stock.
I am absolutely disgusted with both Dixons and DHL.
What makes this worse is that this was promised to a work colleague
  • Hi everyone..Just to say since I made a payment to THAT website my hotmail has been hacked into and have just discovered 3 payments over £100 from random e-companies have been taken from my account.

Just a warning to not be as lax as I was with buying online. Fingers crossed I get some money back..card is now cancelled... B*****ds!!!...

    Which Website was it?!

People won't pay if they think they are getting ripped off - everyone has a different opinion on what they are prepared to pay for anything, including Wiis - just because you wouldn't pay £250ish for one doesn't mean that the next person won't.

So step down off the moral high ground please and let people do what they will do anyway. They may be trying to raise extra money for their kids presents this year - what parent wouldn't. I don't see you screaming at the retailers for making 200% profit on these consoles as it is.

I can't quite understand how selling wii at inflated prices is ripping people off. I'm sorry but in defence of the original poster if he/she buys wii's and sells them on, and is open about what price he paid etc, then that is okay with me. It is called supply and demand. Incidentally I've bought more than one wii and sold it on...........and made a nice few quid. I don't know if they were MSE members or general public. They had cash. I wanted cash. Deal done.
