Are you sure Amazon.de are not sending to the UK anymore?
It says something Friday 16th on the wii console page. Maybe it is just they have none until tomorrow?0 -

Hello all
This is my very first post so be gentle :-)
I ordered a Wii off Amazon.de on the 6th of November and everything appeared to be going "according to plan." Until today that is when I decide to contact my local DHL depot to ask when it will arrive. Apparently they scanned it into their depot on the 10th and now the package isn't there so they've blatantly either sent it on it's merry way to someone elses house or one of their delivery men decided to keep it. The attitude of the guy on the phone was simply that it wasn't their problem and I need to contact Amazon and tell them what has happened. For starters I have absolutely no idea how to go about contacting Amazon.de and the extent of my German is "nein" and "ya das ist gut" although I won't explain where I picked up the latter phrase...
If anyone has any advice for me it would be very much appreciated as at the minute I'm £180 down and wii-less.
Thanks0 -

Definitely not sending to the UK anymore. I ordered one last week, which was delivered yesterday. Just tested ordering another, and this time it says the article ordered cannot be shipped to your requested address, and then points to a page listing a load of countries they will not ship video games to now.0 -

I'm not sure how that can not be their problem. If their system shows they scanned it into their depot then they have to admit they have it. If the system doesn't show any further information then they still have it. The idea of getting Amazon to sort it out probably means they need Amazon to make a claim as their contract is with the sender not the recipient.
Email Amazon - do it in English, they were selling to England therefore its reasonable to expect they have someone who can translate. In my experience many Germans speak good English, certainly more than us Brits speak German! Germans are also known for efficiency so hopefully they will do a good job for you.The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -

You can check your parcels tracking, its a bit of a pain, but heres how
Log into amazon.de
Go into your account (mein Konto button, top right of page)
Click on missing parcel option (Artikel oder Bestellungen löschen)
Click on Bestellung Ansehen button
Copy the 12 digit Sendungscode
Go to DHL tracking http://track.dhl.co.uk/tracking/
click on the Nextday by consignment option
Enter the Sendungscode
You *should* get the details of your parcel.
Hope this helps!!0 -

go to amazon.de, click on 'hilfe' at top right of screen
on that page scroll down left pane until you see 'information for english speaking customers' click on 'more infomation in english' (in italics) then on that page look down menu until you see 'contact us'. You will then have to log in to your account then it gives you a form to fill out. Click on the drop down menu options are in english, then type in your enquiry.

Yeah that's "get it as soon as 16th November if you choose overnight express within the next 6 hours".

But us pommies can't get them any more!0
