Yeh, just been looking into it for the last hour and I agree.
One thing though it is only items from certain "categories" that cant be shipped to the UK, electronics is one of them, but the Wii actually comes under "games" which can be shipped to the UK, and so can "toys"
It might be worth sending an email to them and querying it.

I report it to your credit card, non delivery of goods is the suppliers responsibility and you can claim it on your card, i know because ive done so before.

I tried putting an in stock toy in my basket last night, & it wouldn't ship.

I then tried with a book & it would.

Maybe it's something to do with the size of the package & the carrier.
At 6 euros delivery, they must have been losing out quite a bit on this as well.

I can't help but be suspicious that it is Nintendo who is stoppping Amazon from shipping it to the UK. Supply and demand and they can put up their prices in the UK.

My folks are off to spain next week and i was wondering if anyone knows of any of the stores in spain where a Wii can be purchased. I know i'll have to buy an adaptor but its a small price to pay!

Hi all - With regadrs to the Comtech.de site I placed an order yesterday.

Can someone give me guidance as to how I would check my acount delivery status? I can find the 'Myaccount' and log in but not sure what to click to find delivery/order details. Thanks all.

"Ihr Konto" (your account), top right. Then click the folder icon next to the order, and look at "Bestellhistorie" (order history).

Mine is currently on Zahlung offen (payment open) and I paid with Paypal too yesterday.

I bought a wii play from amazon de this morning so it only seems to be the console thats the problem .So i woud think a nintendo dicktat .

as has been posted before nintendo will probally release loads on the uk market in the few weeks running up to christmas this is just to heighten demand
