I didn't say that discussing the credibility of a poster was off-topic - I suggest you read what I actually posted.

...and I suggest YOU read what was actually posted. Part of the posters argument was suggesting that people should spend more money buying a wii from Komplett because they had offices and were providing jobs for people in the UK.

You will see I'm a newbie, so I'm obviously here to be shot down in flames.

Being a newbie doesn't set you up to be shot down in flames, making your first post a whinge about others being off topic does.

I notice an earlier debate involving tank121 about Komplett, and whether they are based in the UK or not. The debate is off-topic - the topic is where a Wii can be purchased from to arrive in time for Christmas.

    SNIP

And I make no qualms either - I bought mine purely to sell, as I need to make some money before Xmas - but I totally agree with the principles of MSE, so I hope if people are struggling to obtain a Wii they look at Komplett as well as Amazon.de and other suppliers.

Thanks for signing up just to tell us that.....

ive had wii play for 3 weeks now, and im not to impressed with it , think the money would be better spent on a good game. eg. mario galaxy or mario sonic olympics which are both due out in a week or so. but then again if a child wants play then play it must be. but for those people who are just getting it off there own thoughts think again.

You *did* buy it with the remote, right? I noticed that a lot of people are selling it standalone on eBay for silly prices - as a little bonus with the remote it's worth its £5 asking price, but paying £30-40 for it on its own is madness!

The site you posted is helpful and along with peoples posts in this thread has let me get 4 wii's for friends and family but the site has been mentioned loads of times already.

All the Wiis that are PAL are the same so they play the same games.

    Its all the same.

Dont buy from Japan or the US if its European its cool.

    They are the same

Thanks for answering a question !!!!

I did wonder since dont France use SECAM for their TV ???
  • Does the Mario Bundle have the Wii Sports ?? £279 on Powerplaydirect ?
  • I've just been on there and it says - 'despatched upon receipt from supplier'

I was a bit nervous to order one because I'm not sure if this another site where you can order but they may not get them in for 20weeks, like Littlewoods.com?

I was in Berlin this weekend, found a big pile of Wiis (at least 30) on display for EUR249 waiting to be bought up.
I didn't buy one but got a Wii Play for EUR47, they had about 20 on the shelf, they had dust on them!
Also noticed a couple of Wii ads on Telly there.
So they're not quite flying out of the shops in Germany by the look of it.

Are the instructions etc for Wii play in all languages?
