I'm having this problem too - but the order status page on amazon.de has only just given me the shipment number, and is still saying that it is awaiting collection by DHL. My despatch email came through 2 hours ago though saying that it was sent yesterday. I think the systems just take a while to update.

Sorry if I am being a numpty but do the ones from Amazon.de work ok in the UK and do they have English language. As you can probably tell, I am not very techincally minded Thanks in advance

Copied from someones earlier post.....

Differences between German Wii and English Wii:

* Need a continental plug adapter as it has no UK plug fitting. (A trip down the shops.)
* Instructions to Wii Sports game were in German. (This is not a problem as the game is self explanatory)

Great things about ordering your Wii from Germany:

* The Wii manual itself is in many European languages. (Obviously English is one.)
* The Wii console interface can be set to any language you like. (Default is English)
* It actually works out cheaper to order from Germany!
* Learn some German by reading the Wii Box

Good luck and have fun with the Wii.

Oh yes, because it comes from Germany it has a 2 year warranty as standard, not the usual 'rip-off Britain' one

I ordered mine on 6 Nov and it is to be collected by DHL today.

On the bottom of my order e-mail (you have to look right down) was a link
with the words kontakt formular in it, I can't copy and pasete as it will link you to my order. if you click on that it will give you a choice of questions in a pull down one of the options is ask a question in english. hope that helps

To save me searching through 189 pages can someone tell me how much shipping is from amazon.de got a friend looking for a wii for her twin boys

Sorry to be a pain but if I buy the Wii from Amazon.de there is an option to buy Wii Play with it - would this also be in English or am I better buying one in UK?

You can add Wii Play to the order but I think they will be shipped seperate as Wii Play might not be in stock (if they have it in stock then they'll be sent together).

It is in English. You would be very lucky if you could find one in the UK, they are selling on ebay for upto £64 for the basic £35 Wii Play.
