After umming and ahhing for a few days have took the plunge and ordered a wii from Amazon.de and ordered one for a collegue at work who wants one for her daughter, ended up ordering wii play as well as that seems hard to get hold of in the uk and the price was good. Off to search for some bargains on games now;)

Yeah it gave me a dlivery date of 22 nov-12 dec so myself and work collegue decided to get things delivered as they are available cost £12.50 each but still a good price, worked out to be £230 each for console with sports, wii play and numchuk plus delivery. Better than paying out £230 for just a console on ebay!:mad: So I should get the numchuks and console in the next couple of weeks and then the wii play by christmas fingers crossed!:D

Tank121, it is blatantly obvious you have something to gain by recommending people to buy overpriced Wii's from this company and if you do it once more I will be reporting it to mods....

This is a money saving site and I would urge any true MSE'er to use amazon.de and ignore overpriced Wii's, you just set yourself for paying over the odds for more stuff in the future if you let them get away with it now!!!

Does anyone know if I order a Wii Play with Controller from Amazon France will it work ok on my english wii and will it be in English or French??

Totally agree with ScratUk.

After hunting around for a Wii in the UK for a couple of weeks, I ordered one from Amazon.de on Saturday morning.

It was dispatched Monday and arrived today - pretty good service in my book.:j

Anyone else still looking should just head straight there.:D

my amazon.de order says something about dispatch by German post office, no mention of DHL, does that sound right?
