Will the ones from France work in the UK? As France is SECAM and not PAL like the UK and Germany.

the plugs different, you need an adaptor, not sure if it comes with one.

Hey all, ordered a Wii from amazon.de on 2nd Nov and it was delivered today. All the manuals etc. are multilingual and the only extra you need is a 2-pin to 3-pin adapter. Even the stickers on the outside are in 4 different languages (English, German, French and Dutch) so it looks like there's only the one European version of this console wherever you order it from.

Just a note to say, B&Q may not have the euro plug much longer as they are re-branding and that is why they are only a pound. none in stock at thurrock and not due any in. Maplin do have them though at a slightly more £3, but think about what you've saved running round the shops in petrol & calls.
had my e-mail from germany to say it is on its way. :T

I ordered mine last night, it then told me stock expected 15-19 nov, and expected delivery 20-24 Nov.

Today it has now removed the 15-19 nov date and just says:

These items will be shipped shortly:
Delivery expected: 20 November 2007-24 November 2007

Sold by Amazon EU S.a.r.L.

I'm hoping that means it's gonna be shipped soon and the delivery date is just over cautious because of demand:A

Thats cool, cheers, BUT they add VAT on top AND carraige making them nearly £223 for basic package.

It looks like the Euro one too so in that case you may as well get one from amazon.de
