I can assure i have connection with Komplett at all.

I have placed many orders with them for pc components historically, i've never been let down.

I'm just trying to help people avoid dissapoinment, i'm a parent too. Although a wii for my 2yr old is currently one step too far.

Well that has confirmed you have NO connection with them :rotfl: .

5 out of your 11 posts are "promoting" the website so you can see where we are coming from.

I can confirm £205.00 is the total price inclusive of everything and manuals in every thinkable language; including Elvish & Vuclan LOL.

It is the euro and comes with the uk adapeter

    So get ordering

I say nein nein nein to Amazon.de

    www.komplett.co.uk

At nearly £30 more expensive than Amazon.de I say 'Hande hoche komplett für Sie der Krieg wird beendet'
(I knew watching all those war movies would come in handy some day):p

People wonder why our country is in such a state, it won't be long before Kompletts customer care is in India !

It's a Norwegian company with a branch in the UK.

Ordered my Wii from Amazon.de on Friday 2nd November. Got the dispatch email on Saturday 3rd November. Delevered on Tuesday 6th November.

All I had to do was cut the schuko plug off, and replace it with a 3 pin plug. Some folk might be happier to use an adapter.

Just plumbed it into the home cinema system ... works a treat :)

Why folk are fannying about trying to buy one in the UK is beyond me. The German Wii is identical to the UK version except the mains plug, and the fact that it comes with a 2 year warranty as standard. It's cheaper than most of the stores in the UK are charging ... and takes but a few days to be delivered.

They have a uk office and uk support.

They were founded in Norway, but hey Ebay was founded in Switzerland. Trying ringing them ona UK number!

After all price isn't everything, that's why everyone doesn't shop at Aldi,Lidl and Netto!

    eBay "founded in Switzerland" ??
That'll be news to Pierre Omidyar, the founder of eBay .... born in Paris, but moved to the US when he was a kid. :rotfl:

Err...I don't think they do...their 'head office' is the Parcel Force World Wide office in Coventry.
  • I too was a bit wary of ordering from Amazon.de when first hearing of the option through this thread. And I actually cancelled my first attempt in panic when someone mentioned about the fact that there may not be a guarantee/warranty on them. But this has since been disputed.

I have now taken the plunge and yesterday afternoon ordered my sports wii with help and guidance from this thread. I've just checked the website and my order has already been dispatched, due to arrive 12/11/07. I intend buying the 2-pin to 3-pin from B & Q (if they have any left) and I think I'm then good to go. Is there anything else I need?

I'm off to Asda in a mo to see if there are any Wii Play's left as again thanks to this website I've had the nod that there might be some there.

I'll let you know if I have any problems but so far...Amazon.de uber alles!

Cheers everyone! And just think....it'll soon be Christmas....yippee!
