my order from amazon.de converted to £180.31 _ i don't mind it's a few pennies more - time is moneyand my wii is due any day now

I've managed to get 4 wii's for friends and family thanks to the stock updates being mentioned in this thread.

I've been told I don't need to buy any pints for the forseable future lol.

Incidentally none of the orders were from German Amazon, got 2 from UK Amazon and 2 from Play.com when stock was mentioned. Play order was delivered the next day (less than 24 hrs) and amazon was over the weekend and turned up yesterday.

Trawling the web ?? what a load of rubbish most people just use the two sites that automatically show you where they are in stock. Besides I made no mention of that more what I said was if someone wants to ask questions about amazon.de then either reply to them or shut up and stop complaining is all and fairly simple really. this threaed is about Wiis not you moaning about nothing.

Oh and you are so clever with your little comment at the end, bet mummy and daddy are so proud of you.

Nice spot, but it does mention on the page

"Unfortunately due a global shortage of Nintendo Wii's it is unlikey that we will be able to fulfil any new orders in time for Christmas. Due to this inconvenience, we have now reduced our Wii consoles bundles by £15"

might be worth phoning them just to confirm yours is in stiock.

Scrap my post, just phoned them to check my order. What a con! He said their in stock status means 'They're available to order' but the manufacturer has given them a delivery date of Macr 20th 2008!! So i said t the guy at CS, that the item obviously wasn't in stock as the web site claimed. He said well it's available to order. So i advised him their website should show as pre-order NOT instock.!!! Idiots!!

I ordered my wii last Thursday night from amazon.de (Germany) and five minutes ago it arrived. Blimey.

£180 no bs, piece of cake, back of the net etc.

I'm kicking myself I didn't order another Wii remote and Nunchuk as well.

We ordered from amazon.de monday morning, said it was in stock. The price was as expected But ever since ordering it's said this:

Not sure if that's because we ordered the Wii Play as well. It did say that items would be sent separately so maybe the Wii console will be on its way sooner. We don't really want to call customer services in Germany so have emailed to ask what is happening. I don't know if it's worth cancelling it and ordering again or trying to change the order but am a bit concerned it won't be here before December in time for the birthday.
