    1. Click the link above.
    2. Click the button "In den Einkaufswagen" (add to basket)
    3. On the next page, click on the button "Zur kasse gehen" (proceed to checkout)
    4. On the next page, log-in with the same log-in/password from amazon.co.uk (select "Ich bin bereits Kunde und mein Passwort ist:" and click on "Weiter")
    5. From the address book, select your address by clicking on "An diese Adresse versenden" (send to this address)
    6. On the next page, leave everything as it is (the credit/debit card information from your last purchase should be selected) and click on "Weiter"
    7. Last page: you don't need to change anything here, just review the order and click on "Bestellung abschicken" (confirm order). There is only 1 delivery method available on this page, so you don't need to change anything. Delivery cost is 6 EUR for most EU countries, including the UK.
    8. Sit down and relax, it should take about 2 weeks for your item to arrive.

252.80 euros works out at £176.81

Amazon.de are currently offering €20.00 discount on credit card orders. therefore €228 + €6 delivery = €234 approx. £162.50 delivered to the UK. this is cheaper than Argos:rotfl:

It's only their credit card that gets you the discount isn't it?

Yeh, I think you are right there. Never mind:confused:
  • I'm after a step by step guide on how to order from amazon.de. I'm sure I've seen one on here but can't seem to find it now. Don't speak a work of German and don't want to end up with the wrong thing. Any help appreciated.

Go into www.amazon.de and click on the top right button "Hilfe" (German for help/assistance).
On the left hand side of the page there's a menu box "Hilfethemen"
Second from the bottom is "Information for English speaking customers" this takes you too a page with everything you ever wanted to know about ordering from amazon.de and it's all in English.
They're very helpful and efficient these German types you know :o)

A few people have mentioned componenet cables. What difference does this make over the cables included. We have a HD TV if that makes any difference.

    Thanks again all.

you definitely want to use component, especially on a hd tv.it gets the best possible pic from the wii as there is no hdmi for the console.

Its better to use component (not composite) as the colours are separated Red, Green and Blue rather than one feed for colour and 2 for sound

The component cable it comes with is the best to use, as has been said, it has seperate feed for the different colours. It also comes with a component to scart adapter (well my amazon.de one came with one)

Just got my wii delivered from Amazon UK ordered a few days back

Hope everyone else who wants one gets it at a realistic price
  • Thanks so much to everyone for all their advice on how to order from Amazon.de I'm sick of traipsing round shops/ calling every morning/ looking on web etc etc so I'll give it a go from Amazon.de, but please can anyone tell me what I get in the basic package? Do I need to buy controllers? Does it come with any games? (I want the sports one- I think!)...I've not quite got my finger on the pulse of top technology and appreciate any help/ advice.
    Many thanks!
Presumably I'll have to change the plug? Are any instructions in English? And how do I send it back if its broken or breaks down?
Sorry for all the questions! Any help MUCH appreciated!
