    I totally agree. Order via Amazon.de . ordered tonight, they are giving a 20 Euro discount just now too !!! Total order cost inc delivery 252 Euro's. Works out at just over £163. Superb!!! in stock and delivery betwenn 8/11-16/11. plenty of time for Crimbo:j

    did the same...delivery date is around the 19th.

    Does the Wii come with a component cable or will I have to buy one.?

    Went into HMV (merry hill dudley) last thurs they are expecting 126 wiis before xmas they are taking names they will ring on the day consule comes in and you must be able to pick up same day my DD was number 50 on the list so may be worth going in not sure if all stores have same policy good luck

    No, just a composite video cable included... in the UK ones at least. I imagine it would be the same for the Euro models.

    It doesn't come with a component cable, it comes with standard video (yellow) and audio (red and white) - same as most camcorders use.

    You can get a component lead for it for about £20ish - careful you get the right one though as it's not a standard component lead.

    When I say not standard I mean it hasn't got the same connectors on both ends - obviously it has the standard plugs on one end but it has a wii connector on the other so that you can only use it with a Wii.

    If it's advertised as being for a Wii, go for it - just don't get a standard component cable like you would for a DVD player or Sky box as it won't fit in the back of the Wii.

    my friend is off to america next wek and said she would get me one of the wiis. I am abit worried that it is not suitable for use in the uk. Anyone know if that is correct. I am abit thick when it comes to gadgets and haven't got a clue so any advice would be much appreciated.
