my friend is off to america next wek and said she would get me one of the wiis. I am abit worried that it is not suitable for use in the uk. Anyone know if that is correct. I am abit thick when it comes to gadgets and haven't got a clue so any advice would be much appreciated.
It May work, it may not. The Wii has the ability to do regional lockouts and you may find it will be NTSC not PAL and 120V. Until someone can show this one way or another it' up in the air.
You may find it can only accept US Wii point cards too.
There also sold out over there too, To be honest I wouldn't risk it,0 -
Went into HMV (merry hill dudley) last thurs they are expecting 126 wiis before xmas they are taking names they will ring on the day consule comes in and you must be able to pick up same day my DD was number 50 on the list so may be worth going in not sure if all stores have same policy good luck

You're right, ordered mine from Amazon.de, I could track it through Germany and UK through DHL and it arrived in 2 days. Went to B&Q and bought a three pin plug which encloses the two pin plug completely for £1.
I just can't understand this headless chicken thing - 'go, go, go, its in Dixons, no it's not, yes it is again........'0 -

They have some available, but is it a trustworthy company. They have no telephone or address details on their website... Could they be fraudulent?
ANyone have any experience?0 -
I'm after a step by step guide on how to order from amazon.de. I'm sure I've seen one on here but can't seem to find it now. Don't speak a work of German and don't want to end up with the wrong thing. Any help appreciated.:A0

1. Click the link above.
2. Click the button "In den Einkaufswagen" (add to basket)
3. On the next page, click on the button "Zur kasse gehen" (proceed to checkout)
4. On the next page, log-in with the same log-in/password from amazon.co.uk (select "Ich bin bereits Kunde und mein Passwort ist:" and click on "Weiter")
5. From the address book, select your address by clicking on "An diese Adresse versenden" (send to this address)

1 Nintendo DS and other bits for youngest son
Oh, just to say I don't know if anyone has mentioned it before but I don't think Amazon.de like/accept debit cards. All credit cards paid off.
