    They mst be succeeding too!

The stock levels of those keep changing, along with the minimum price. That's now up to £296 instead of £269.

Ive been watching these people selling on Ebay and Amazon for alsmot #300 and it's made me really angry. Moneysavingexpert is all about Consumer Revenge. I had an idea to beat these Ebayers, and it basically involves us picking up stock.

I have figured there are two ways people are getting items onto Ebay or Amazon
    1) Buying stock as soon as it appears anywhere online
    2) Reserving from Argos as soon as it appears online and either selling the code, or buying it from there.

I think it would be a great thing if all of us could keep an eye on Argos online, and if we see any availability, reserve it. Then post on the forum, that I have reserved at xxx, and if anyone wants one, they should PM me. Then we can give it to MSE members.
THIS WOULD DRY UP THE SECOND SOURCE TO A LARGE EXTENT

Secondly, if we see it online anywhere, we should buy it and give it to MSE members for the cost price + P&P to the member's address. This is a little risky, but you get the satisfaction of beating the ebay and amazon theives, and there is definitely demand. I've been looking for one, and I know two friends at university (Warwick) are also looking for one each. So I could guarantee to buy the first three, and Im sure everyone else on this thread is looking too.

I've opened a new thread , where we can carry this out for those who agree:

  • If I could get an argos code for myself in the first place it would help, never mind resrving them all over the place for other people! lol.

Not sure I'd like to buy them on other peoples' behalf either, and have all the hassle that goes with it. I'm sure your heart's in the right place, though!

Argos have stopped people from been able to reserve them, I was told it was because they had such short supply but I think its because the reserve codes were been sold on Ebay

Those adapters are actually very good, and easy to use.

Problem with Komplett is their P&P rates.
The plug adapter is £3.50, but the P&P is £6.75 :(

Just received mine this morning from here:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Euro-Plug-Converter-Adaptor-2-Pin-to-UK-3-Pin-5A-BS1363_W0QQitemZ200169663200QQihZ010QQcategoryZ96942QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

2 days after purchase and only £3.28 inclusive of delivery.
