and how long before it was showing as despatched....did you receive the despatch email from amazon?

I've ordered a few from Germany now, despatched next day and arrive via DHL. All the emails recieved as usual and I just bung them through babel fish to translate. They have taken about 5 days to arrive.

Do you just have to change the plug if you get one from Germany?

You can either get a eu to UK plug convertor, this will either let the eu 2 pin plug into the uk 3 pin plug, or some open up for the 2 pin to go inside the 3 pin plug.

Or you can just cut the wire as close to the 2 pin plug as you can, peel back the plastic and fit a 3 pin plug as you would normally when changing a plug.

I haven't used this site so i'm not sure how reliable they are but this http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=319065 shows one adaptor where the 2 pin goes inside the 3 pin then clips shut to make a normal 3 pin plug.

Hi - apologies if this has been answered before.

I'm now wondering about ordering Wii Play from the amazon.fr site which shows 1-2 weeks delivery as opposed to the 2-5 weeks from the german site in the hope that it might turn up before xmas. I'm sorry to be really dim, but will the game be compatible with the UK console?

Please don't post to tell me this has been answered before - it may well have been but I can't find it.

Think I would be better with the french site - at least I can understand it!

I ordered from amazon.co.uk on the 30th. I got the order confirmation back the same day which is when I noticed the Jan 08 date. I then went to amazon.de and purchased it from there. Got the shipping notification from .de today so went to cancel my co.uk order but find I cant.

I'm concerned because the french one has got a yellow triangle on the bottom LH corner of the box and the english one has got a white diamond in the identical place. Both say PAL on the bottom right hand corner. Is that good enough? The german one has the white diamond same as the english game...

Suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world if it turned up and it was wrong but I would be annoyed with myself... Sorry, I'm waffling!

all european wiis are pal format which means the games will play on all european players you will most likely jusy have to set language to english!

ordered from Amazon France today for sister n law delivery due between 8th and 15th nov cost 175.00. got the adaptor off ebay for under 4.00.
