I'm concerned because the french one has got a yellow triangle on the bottom LH corner of the box and the english one has got a white diamond in the identical place. Both say PAL on the bottom right hand corner. Is that good enough? The german one has the white diamond same as the english game...

Suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world if it turned up and it was wrong but I would be annoyed with myself... Sorry, I'm waffling!

The yellow triangle on a Nintendo Game box signifys the language of the game disc / manuals in that box. and I vaguly remember reading somewhere there are 40 or so different colours that signify all the language combinations of disk and manual.

It may be the disk is multilingual and the manual in french only , or the disc and manual are both french only , or they are both multi lingual. I don't know the exact codes, but my UK Wii Sports ( and all my wii and game cube games) are green triangles and all seem to say they are 5 languages on the disk, but only have english instructions. I suspect you'll have the same disk (5 lanugages) but the box will have french instructions in it.

It can also be a different colout if the disk has 2 different languages on it, or 3 languaiges, or 5 and that with the combination of possible manuals makes the number of colour corners so high

I am so impressed with the service I had from Amazon.co.uk & Home delivery network with my 2 Wii's, bought on Thursday and just now delivered Saturday. I only went for the Free super saver option. What a great service on these items :j :j

  • Hi, i dont know if this has been posted before but Game are getting deliveries in in the mornings. I was in Folkestone this week and myself and my workmates managed to get 1 each. The Manager said that the best day to get one was a Tuesday as they get a bigger order in on that day.

    when did you order it
and how long before it was showing as despatched....did you receive the despatch email from amazon?

I ordered mine for Amazon.de (Germany) on Friday 2nd November. Literally just got the item dispatched email (11:30am Saturday 3rd November).
I'm guessing it'll be here sometime mid next week.

You can either get a eu to UK plug convertor, this will either let the eu 2 pin plug into the uk 3 pin plug, or some open up for the 2 pin to go inside the 3 pin plug.

Or you can just cut the wire as close to the 2 pin plug as you can, peel back the plastic and fit a 3 pin plug as you would normally when changing a plug.

I haven't used this site so i'm not sure how reliable they are but this http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=319065 shows one adaptor where the 2 pin goes inside the 3 pin then clips shut to make a normal 3 pin plug.

Those adapters are actually very good, and easy to use.

Problem with Komplett is their P&P rates.
The plug adapter is £3.50, but the P&P is £6.75 :(
