Sorry guys, got some other issues on at the mo that kind of make whether it even switches on or not rather insignificant....

However, the wife has been keeping herself entertained with it all day, it all works fine! :j

What I would say though is that it comes with a universal plug adaptor with surge protector which is rather clever (can be used anywhere in the world), but I think for full time use one of those adaptors from ebay would be more robust.

Plus, the instructions for Wii Sports are in many languages, just not English (though to be honest, that is not too much of a hardship as it is rather intuitive).
So, whilst I was concerned it could be a scam, it wasn't, it's great! :j

The B&Q here in Durham is selling off lots of electrical stuff and I've just got a two to three pin adaptor (similar to the ebay ones where the two pin plug is encased in a three pin plug) for only £1. Don't know if all B&Q's are doing this.

Have you tried any backups yet to test the mod?

Well plan was to make backups of my DVDs, but our laptops can't read it, apparently we'd need a specific LG drive to do that.

Sorry, all gone again.

I've been waiting for these as they include an extra sports pack & free game.

What I have noticed is their stock tends to appear weekly, either between 11 & 12 or 15.30 & 16.30 on either a Thursday or Friday.

It's taken me 3 weeks of failed attempts but I've finally nabbed one.:T
