I ordered from Amazon Uk with free delivery. The box was delivered when I was out, no note left or signature obtained. It was left at the rear of the property, on the back doorstep, with no proof of delivery!

Keep them open in 2 windows and you will get notified as soon as stock appears.

And don't forget to check in the small hours if you can, stock is sometimes updated overnight and obviously isnt snapped up as fast!

i went to toy's r us in swindon today. They said getting 40ish delivered on saturday but couldn't be sure exactly what time. As i don't fancy spending all day in there waiting i thought i'd give it a miss:rotfl:

Well Ive been following this thread for weeks and it seems there is no easy way to get the Wii and I didnt want to go down the Ebay route and pay £40-£50 over the odds!

So Im glad someone has posted about the deal at Amazon.de

I cant believe everyone else is still scuttling about trying to get one from the few stockists over here!

The Amazon.de deal works out cheaper than the basic deal over here and has a longer guarantee.

Please consider that deal before everyone gets into a frenzy the nearer Christmas gets!

Quite a few of us got one from Amazon UK today so dont give up, I reckon they are holding them back and Nintendo UK told me "Nintendo are currently making deliveries bi-weekly into the UK"

Argos, Argos, Argos lol. I was walking past there at lunchtime today and popped in. Sales Assistant said none in stock but after looking it up said they'd have one delivered in store at 4pm and I could reserve it.

Couldn't believe it. Not seriously been looking for one and on my first attempt I struck lucky (and I'm never lucky, actually I wish I'd bought a lottery ticket today). Went back at 3.50 and there it was was waiting. Didn't much care for the comments of the other people waiting at the collection point so was glad I was getting a lift home. Also had to pass a GameStation on the way and noticed they are selling pre-owned machines for the price of a new one in Argos.

Anyway more to the point, Argos sales assistant told me stores are getting regular small numbers in but are not advertising them, so go in before lunch and be lucky.

Thank you to whomever posted on here about trying in store. Wouldn't have bothered otherwise. Now begins the hard work of trying to find out what games to buy and where from.

my friend went to our tesco extra today (broadstairs) and not expecting to see a massive sign say we have wii in they had 14 left so maybe worth going to your local 1 as maybe not updating website

My order from Amazon is already on its way with Parcelforce. I've seen them on Play, Dixons and Amazon already this week. My guess is that other retailers will be getting their deliveries any time now, so keep an eye on Woolworths, Argos, Game etc. and if you see one in stock GO FOR IT!
