Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Just ordered one from Amazon for 252.80 euros including p&p. I need to get a power adapter - can anyone confirm whether the plug itself is the normal two-pin slim plug or a big fat adapter? I'm wondering if this would be suitable as an adapter:

  • I managed to get a wii last week in GAME.
Whilst I am thriled to get one I was not very impressed with the way in which I had to buy.
The Manager told me that to prevent them being sold on he would not sell any wii on there own at £179. That is fair enough, I wanted a bundle anyway. There were 2 bundles on offer £215 and £250. The Manager told me he "would only be satisfied" If I spent £250 then he would know I could not make a profit. So I wasnt allowed to buy even the £215 package if I did I would have to make it up to £250 with games, controllers etc. In the end he "let me off" with spending £240. I am really fuming but like most other parents here I dont want to dissapoint my kids.

All sold out within 40 minutes - good post for those who got in quick though so thanks and keep 'em coming!

I was too slow - made the mistake of texting my brother to ask whether to order for his kids and 10 minutes later all gone.....will know better next time!
  • My order status with Dixon's has went to Stock Query.

Hope it comes through then i can cancel my waiting stock one at play. I'm quite surprised they are still hard to get hold off. I went through all this in Jan to get my one and thought it would be so much easier now.

  • 45 minutes.......2 phone calls.......

I ordered one at 10.00 this morning - got to the final page of the order this time, having put in all my card details, and it wants the password again....I input it ' sorry - invalid password' - how can in be invalid when I just used it to log on with?

Kept trying - logged off & back in - Wii still in basket, still showing in stock - still won't accpt password at last hurdle. Got throughto them at last on the telephone - "Sorry - our systems are slow this morning - and now they are all sold out".

I DESPAIR. KIDS WILL HAVE NOTHING FOR CHRISTMAS AS I WILL BE COMMITTED TO A LUNATIC ASYLUM BY THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or will be out of work if my boss knows how much time I am spening trying to get this damn thing....................

So it's ok for Game to make a profit but nobody else:mad:
Think I would email their head office and complain.
Some of the bundles are not suitable for everyones needs ,I would not like to have to purchase football or tiger woods games my DD would not use them, many retailers are bundling up games without even an option to pick them, hardly fair trading.
If I buy a washing machine I don't expect to have too buy a supply of a particular brand of washing powder with it Grrrrr.

This is rubbish anyway. Wii's on ebay are going for £230+ so sell that and your games and you will make a profit. Sounds like a dumb manager trying to maximise HIS profits!
