Hi, was in GAME store yesterday in Manchester's Arndale Centre and asked about Wii Consoles - they're expecting delivery of 60 this coming Tuesday @ 12 noon...so the Deputy Manager told me !

I know yeah..I got mine from Amazon.de. It arrived in 4 days, I bought a plug adapter from Maplin and it works fine. It has instructions in English and its a PAL console so there really are no problems!

well my Jan 08 due Wii has just shipped from amazon.co.uk. Means Im getting one from here and from Germany , like buses, wait around for ages then 2 come along at once. doh!

Does anyone here understand Amazon?

I managed to order two Wii on Friday, one for me, the other for a relative. I used the "pay by cheque" option to get thru the screens quickly rather than enter my credit card details.

I updated them on saturday with my card details. On one I just updated with card details and its gone into "being prepared". The other one I had to also change the delivery address (to my relatives). The one for a relative is now forecast for delivery in January 2008!!!

I thought Wii were being sold on Amazon as a "stock Item"

Is this a "we need to update systems monday and wont commit to delivering before xmas" date or is it genuine? If it is then I will cancel that part of the order.

Also I have a config file for a free web monitoring program that will give a loud audiable alert to amazon stock anything up to 2 minutes before they appear on the "normal" web based stock checkers if anyone is interested? email me.
