I ordered my WII from shopto.net £174.99 (free delivery) on Monday on pre-order. They got a delivery today and I was sent an email asking me to go through the checkout process (make sure you register your visa/mastercard before completing the checkout process,details will be in your email) which I completed. I got a confirmation email after lunch saying that it has been despatched with a tracking code.

In my opinion yes.

My reason is simple - don't rely on someone else getting you a Wii - the time it becomes available, the time they post it - the time you see it & the time you log in is all wasted - cut out the middle man & do it yourself.

I saved JL, Game & Woolies shortcuts as favourites & everyone in the family who needed 1 got 1 - and one of them was using the stock checker constantly.

It's up to yourself - it's only my opinion but if it helps 1 person get 1 on here then I'll be happy!

Hello all,

There is a site http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk which gives a real time stock check of all major companies selling Wiis. If you open this site in a browser and just leave it running it will give you a pop-up when stock becomes available. There are many deals with bundled games but occasionally Amazon has them for £179.98 (basic package with Wii sports).... however, you have to be quick. The stock usually goes in a few minutes. Make sure you have an Amazon account set up with one-click buying. This is where most people selling on Ebay get them from. Happy hunting and good luck.

ps. I have been watching the stock checks over the last few weeks and they have been getting less frequent.
