  • Hi,

Over the last few days John Lewis is the only site which have consistently had Wiis in stock.

I managed to get my nephew 1 & helped another family member get 1 just now.

They have just put some more on but I think they've sold out - for the moment anyway.

My advice - register with the website first to save a little time as the checkout stage. Have your credit card & discount code at the ready.

    Save this page

    http://www.johnlewis.com/Technology/Gaming/Gaming/Consoles/4988/ProductType.aspx?SearchTerm=nintendo+wii

to your favourites & refresh every when you have the time.

If you are lucky enough to get availability the type as fast as you can as they don't hold them to let you pay.

    Good luck!!

REMEMBER - Just because it says OUT OF STOCK doesn't mean it won't be available again in 2 or 3 mins time - be persisent!!

we paid that in asda for it. it's a really good game. the only down side to it is, there are some games you can only play as either single player, or 4 player, so you need 4 wiimotes plugging in! all games work in single player mode though. it is a really fun family game. we can't wait for christmas day so we can play it out in the open without the duck tape over our mouths  and the sound on properly! lol:D

We've been very good so far in keeping it under wraps but I suppose we ought to really check it's working before Christmas Day!!!:D

What tax am i dodging exactly bearing in mind you have no idea what your on about.

Yes its all about post counts isnt it .

You can keep your forum penis size for someone who's interested.

And if that attempt constitutes ROTFL have you met anyone with a real sense of humour .

    Your a wit .

    Well half of one anyway.

Buying and then selling of new goods attracts tax on your personal earnings, assuming that you work and earn over the basic personal allowance £5425

Post counts dont worry me, nor does my p*n*s size, why mention that, inferior complex maybe :p

Was you talking about your sense of humour, perhaps it should have looked like :(:(:(:(:(

This site is "moneysaving" not for people to buy cheap stuff to resell and make money, consumer revenge is what it is about, not consumer greed, now that is hilarious:rotfl::T:rotfl:

  • I have just tried john lewis and they say out of stock, so i phoned their helpline. the helpline says they have over 4500 back orders that they have no consoles to fill.
before placing any more orders with john lewis, phone the helpline first. it seems you are being put in a massive queue without guarantee to get one!

Without doubt - I would certainly pay the extra £5 to be guaranteed one. Trouble is if I placed an order with xpansys that would be the 3rd retailer I will have a back order yet with no 'guarantee' that they will get any stock.

In JL stores there are signs which state that if any Wiis become available they are going straight onto the website.

I ordered a console & game on Thurs 25/10/07 & received it on Sat 27/10/07. My brother got his yesterday when he ordered on the same day - the slight delay was due to a problem with his card.

I don't believe for 1 min they have a backlog of 4500. I don't think company with JL reputation would run the risk of letting customers down.

I've found that depending on who I speak to, be it online or instore, not just JL but other stores too, they tell you conflicting stories.

Honestly, keep trying & you'll get one.
