I think Argos have removed them from their reservation system because of people selling the reservation numbers and are just putting them on sale as they get them in, might be worth popping into your local Argos and asking if they have any.

i dont see why people are going mental again, come 1st of dec they will be in stock, the Big N is holding them back,

Wii Production 1.8 million units per month, for the last 5 months, look at the sales charts it dont add up,

but someone in woolworths HQ has said they only get X amount of wii's and they said the Big N is holding them back,

wii got released DEC 2006, and are still dripping in stores,.. pull the other one Mario

I tried this but it doesn't work.
I put a text alert on a couple of local stores near me. Later someone posted that one of my stores had stock but I didn't get any alert so its pretty much useless as far as I can see.

I also agree with your comment about the shaving plug, why people will not order from other EU countries is beyond me, THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME!! (apart from the plug)

As for the Ebay "lamer" comments I am going to buy 2 from Bart Smit in Holland for 212 euros each (about £150) and put them on Ebay with a "FREE" 2 pin to 3 pin adaptor and probably get around £250. I am doing something wrong? No more wrong than "reputable" Newitts. If people are prepared to pay then market forces will dictate that the price will increase, supply & demand etc etc.

Just to let people know who ordered from Play.com yesterday as I did.

My account on play.com still shows as processing but a nice (blonde, sexy lady) ahem.. back on subject, has just delivered me a brand spanking new Wii.

Thanks again , my search is now over, well apart from Wii Play which is next on my list.
