I have a contract phone with e2save on their cashback scheme Had the 7th bill come through rather late, it was dated the beginning of december but was not delivered until christmas eve!!!. now i have just received my next bill but this has been labeled as bill 9!!!! this should be bill 8 as bill 8 is the one you send out for the cash back. Phones CPW and told them the date on th last bill doent even correspond!! They had a reply that they will send out the 8th bill in due course!!.
All very suspicious if you ask me, the very bill i need to send out gets overlooked. How many others have they tried it on with!!!!!.
I will look to see the date on the 8th bill when it arrives.
Just thought i should make you all aware of yet another underhanded way this company tries to wriggle out of giving you your cash back.

I had this happen to me as well. I am with CPW and they labelled my 8th bill as 7th on the invoice number. Amazing how the number they get wrong is always the one where you make the cashback claim.0 -
Very strange, this has just happened to me too. I went through e2save on O2 and billed from CPW. I am in dispute about my cashback for my 8th bill as they said I sent in the wrong bill (should have been the one before). Funny that cos I sent in 4th bill and they paid on that, anyway, my latest bill is numbered 10 but should be 9 and the date is correct. Maybe they are adjusting all there bill numbers to put things right and realise they have made many cockups (see previous posts)
Phoned CPW and they said the number on the invoice is not necessarily the number of the bill and that e2save have different methods of calculating when cashbacks are due to be paid (pick a number out of the air)
I am totally miffed as to what is going on with these two companies lately,
can anyone shed some light on it
Thanks0 -
Just to make things clear, this is only likely to happen with O2 contracts and not for other network contracts purchased via e2save.
If purchasing a contract from e2save on any network other than O2, a your service provider will be the network operator itself. The service provider for an O2 contract purchased via e2save will be O2 CPW.
I seriously doubt this issue is an attempt at avoiding cashback payments. It is more likely due to CPW's truly appalling billing platform.

I have exactly the same problem with E2 Save on my orange contract. They paid out on my 4th bill but declined my 8th as being wrong, spent ages trying to contact them yesterday but when i finally got through their computers were down and was told to phone back !
I have sent them a letter by recorded delivery demanding payment within 7 days or i will go through the small claims court.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?

even my 7th bill o2 cpw is numbered as 8th.Now their is a bit of confusion which bill to sent for cash back.I bought the phone on 8th june 2006 and billing date is 22nd of each month.the first bill covered 8th june to 22nd july.now mysteriously this bill appeared as 8th instead of 7th (december bill) and which bill to send this one or the one going to be issued on 22nd of january0
