Sorry I didn't mean to cause a debate over benefits but trust me, If I was lucky enought to have reliable family members living close to me, that could look after my children whilst I went to work, I would be out of the door like a shot and would probably work 2-3 jobs just so I could pay my debt off.
Absolutely no need to feel apologetic one iota......you have caused nothing whatsoever........apart from giving others an opportunity to correct a misapprehension...
And please, dispel any feeling of guilt over being in debt........almost everybody that inhabits MSE is in debt of one form or another......[apart from BR's that is...]
Bankruptcy is simply a legal means of resolving what has become an impossible debt situation.
And believe me, your thoughts of maybe getting a job to repay those debts really are misplaced.......they wouldn't be repaid, not this side of the next century, anyway...creditors see to that very ably, thank you.
So there is no need to morally beat yourself up over the situation.....No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
