As a prospective FTB living in Stafford, in my opinion your house is over priced at £139,950.
I have been looking at the Wildwood and Weeping Cross areas of Stafford which are in general more expensive than the Rising Brook/Moss Pitt area that your house is located in. There are 3 bed semi's in the area that I am looking at that are the same and if not cheaper (asking prices) than your house.
Also looking at the other house that has gone under offer in Crinan Grove, the house maybe smaller (which it doesn't appear to be looking at the pictures) but it has a lot more LAND.
To me as a FTB LAND IS EVERYTHING. I couldn't care less what a house looked like inside as I would want to put my own stamp on the place, however i would want as much LAND as possible so that I could expand/extend if I wanted. The Crinan Grove house has a much bigger garden and has a big driveway which IMO is very important when buying a house.
If I was looking to buy in your area I would offer around £105-110,000 at the most for your house as we are down to 2004 levels with regards to house prices in Stafford (and falling) and I wouldn't want to be in negative equity going forwards.
Its probably not what you want to hear but I thought it might be worth putting my opinion across as a FTB living in Stafford.
I see that you have had three viewings already so good luck with them, but be prepared that you might have to lower your price expectations.
I have been keeping my eye on local listings and similar properties are on for more than my house. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-34202351.html
I think with 3 viewings since Saturday it cannot be that bad. You would not get a house here for 105-110k unless it needed work doing like the neighbours house I posted earlier.0 -

The problem you have is that there are a lot of houses in that area (and others) that are bigger and cheaper than yours. For example (replace the arrows with dots):
www>rightmove.co.uk>property-for-sale/property-18131763>html
This is a linked detached house, has a double driveway and a big garden and is on for £137,000. According to google maps this about 6 minutes walk from your house.
It isn't as modernised as yours inside but from my point of view, you can buy kitchens and bathrooms when you move in but in most cases you can’t buy extra land to put them in.0 -
I didn't know what you meant by this but I then realised that this is a name of another user who has posted on this thread.

As I said before that fact that you have had 3 viewings already is a very good sign in the current market, however they may not offer you want you want, if at all.

People keep saying bigger. Trust me as we looked at those houses when we purchased they are not bigger. They are pretty small especially the kitchen and living room area just look at the room sizes. It is swings and roundabouts. You can get a small link detached or a bigger semi.0 -

But your's may be bigger but those one's look bigger from the pictures, which is what most buyer's will be basing their decision on whether to view.
As others have said, the other's posted also look much nicer from the outside, with driveways. I don't know about anyone else, but this would make a big difference to me.

Should I be offended that you think I hide behind multiple usernames?
If you want to look at all my previous posts you will find every single one of them is during office hours when I have 5 mins and a cup of tea. (I'm eating my lunch as I type this!)
The post you thought was from me was in the middle of the night. I love my sleep too much to be on here doling out advice and opinion at ridiculous o'clock in the morning.
Having said all that, you read a sensible well constructed post and thought of me. Aw shucks (I'm blushing now) thank you!0 -

I take the point. One viewer said it was like a Tardis, lol0 -
Got 2 offers - 1 low and 1 high - both have no mortgage yet so am waiting. Do you think it is worth getting new pics put on?
I am still waiting for the floorplan to be put on.0 -

Definitely worth asking for better pictures and the floorplan asap.
It seems your house is bigger than it appears. You need this to be evident so you get a decent offer from someone in the position to buy.
Good luckLooking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

i agree, 2 offers is great so early but what if you could be missing out on genuine buyers who are ready to go that may offer a good amount but just cant see the potential from the pictures ??
I would push your EA's a little if they still havent added the floor plan by mid-weekBow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0
