Thanks Princess Coupon I'll keep looking then, Jarrow said they hadn't had them in.

Home bargains parkway sheffield - huge box ! Baby born remote controlled dolls scooter -£9.99 - had my DD with me so had to text DH , who was waiting in car, to come in and buy whilst i kept her busy in another aisle ! Sorry cant post photo , had to leave it hiding in car !

I bought one on Amazon Black Friday for £18.99 thinking I had got a deal. Then went into my local Home Bargains on Saturday to my shock horror there were a pile for £9.99

Had my two kids with me so sneakily bought one leaving them browsing in the toy section. Needless to say I will be returning the amazon one as even with the small cost of returning it to amazon, I will still make a saving.

My motto - always check out Home Bargains first!!!:)

Plenty of these in H1illsbor0ugh today, in two places: by the men's gadget/gifts and by the women's gloves and socks opposite beauty products. The box was smaller than I was expecting!

Spotted some nice grow your own herbs in a choice of ceramic pots (3 in a pack) or wooden pots (2 in a pack). These looked really nice, not cheap at all. Considered getting one for my gardening mad friend, but not sure if they'd be offended by a grow your own kit. What do you think? Is grow your own the equivalent of paint by numbers?

Do you know how much roughly the grow your own were? Think this would finish off my aunt and uncles hamper perfectly :)
Life is what you make it.
  • The Baby Born RC City Scooter is available online right now at £9.99 reduced from £29.99. Something else now bought that my daughter had on her christmas list this year!!

I got it on Black Friday as well. Haven't been in HB this week so will be going in tomorrow and may send it back to amazon.

I can't quite remember but £4.99 is sticking in my head. Could be totally wrong though! The ceramic pots were more expensive than the wooden ones. I preferred the look of the ceramic pots but another poster on here said they liked the wooden ones. Think I'm going to go back on Friday and get one so will let you know.
  • Don't really follow this thread so apologiess if mentioned but my local HB (Coatbridge) had the John Adams Surprise Egg Maker for £5.99 today (still £12.99 on Amazon)

This made me laugh on a grey morning.
The vision that popped into my mind was a row of clucking chickens lined up along the shelves of home bargains.
