Yes it is up beside Primark (beside where the old woolworths used to be).

I've just spotted something on their website, but it is out of stock.

It's called a Mighty Boom Ball. It's a mp3 player, iphone etc. speaker. It's a small coloured half ball shaped item that you place on a household item, eg. table, box, watering can, anything, which then acts as a speaker. It costs £9.99.

Has anybody spotted these in any of the North West stores, or had they been for sale for ages and I've missed them. (I'll look in my local Southport store today.)

Thanks in advance for any replies.

(edited to say, I have spotted these for sale on Amazon. They're a few quid dearer, but it will be cheaper than the petrol money dragging husband around all the North West stores trying to find them!

Got some Rocket Fuel coffee for £1.79 most other places it's nearly double that, I haven't tried it yet so don't know if it's any good. Also got some of the Nerds lip balm , it seems ok as a lip balm but it's so sweet can imagine my teeth rotting (probably not but you know what I mean).
    Booo!!!

Looked for the Mighty Boomball in the Southport store with no luck, and staff didn't seem to know what I was talking about.:(

However, I found them in our Staples store, and they had all the different colours. They cost £14.98 each, (I think) or 2 for £20. I needed 2, so it only cost me 2p more than Home Bargains. ;););)

(I know my description of this item in my thread above is lousy, but if you look at videos on the internet it looks really good.)

Was nicely surprised today to notice that Southport now has fridge and freezer foods. There was all sorts for sale, bacon, cooked chicken, grated cheese, frozen chips, fish fingers, pies, ice cream bars, viennettas and lots more I can't remember. Looked reasonable prices.

Have many other stores got fridges and freezers yet?
  • I got some Bath Buddies 'Squeak n Squirt' bath squirters today - packs of two for only 49p. These are £2 in Tescos. They had a choice of two designs - either a star and octopus or a seahorse with a shark.

Great stocking filler for little (and not so little!) ones.

Cuponks were for back in stock in the Preston town centre store this afternoon. (far side toy aisle on the bottom shelf)

I bought one and I think there was 11 left on the shelf.
  • Been to my HB store today and they had Crayola Glow Books for £7.99, retailing at £27.99 on Amazon:http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004Z1JW68/ref=asc_df_B004Z1JW6810947756?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&!!!!!googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B004Z1JW68

    Great stocking filler for Christmas.

Sorry if this has already been posted on this thread, I did do a search and it didn't come up.
