Hi Heather, I was the same as you really. I found it hard to fit my situations in to the questions. Although they did say to take plenty of time to think about your answer.
Lots of people being interviewed there were 6 pages of say about 20 names? And that was only for today haha
We will just have to wait and see how it goes. Some of the people there with me were't even dressed for interviews. There was this one guy that had jeans, trainers and a t-shirt and hadn't even brushed his hair so lets hope for his sake it isn't judged on appearance lolDebt 2012 - [STRIKE]1600[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1180[/STRIKE] 1150:j
All owed to my long suffering mother and father. No interest accruing debt left :j0 -
Ha Ha! Yes, I felt overdressed in my suit alongside all the hoodies, t-shirts with inappropriate slogans and scruffy trainers. Do they take note of your appearance? All the staff I saw were smartly turned out. I have a really bad feeling about how it all went. They are interviewing until 27th August, including weekends and evenings. Scary. Did you see the huge advert outside, attached to the fence, advertising that they are looking for staff?0

Thanks for also sharing your questions rach, yours are kind of the same as heathers, i guess thats becuase you both did it in dundee?

Well, you don't need to write a sermon to take with you - just a few key words (which you can memorise beforehand) that will jog your memory! I wish I had done that - would have felt I had given it my best shot. Instead, I feel rather deflated as I know I didn't do as well as I could have. Also, the sheer number of candidates was scary :eek:0

Well I would imagine that appearance would be given some thought as they are quite strict on their dress code when working there. Business dress is a must apparently.
Yeah the amount of people who applied and got through to interview is a bit off putting but we just have to hope for the best!
I'm sure you done better than you think Heather!
Silver - where are you interviewing?Debt 2012 - [STRIKE]1600[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1180[/STRIKE] 1150:j

During the brief chat (before the interview) with the two people who were about to conduct proceedings, I was told that there is no fixed time for the interview - it could be 45 minutes (which is the max) or 20 minutes. It just depends how quickly you mention the key statements they are looking for. If you don't get there during your wee story (as I didn't) they begin to ask you to clarify various actions/scenarios with vague prompts until you say the "magic words". At least, that was my interpretation of things.0
