Be glad you don't have a Yaris of similar vintage, bearings not replaceable, complete hubs @ £225 a side for genuine, about £160 a side for pattern, plus fitting.0

See if there is an owners club. For my wife's Mitsi FTO they are £440 from Mitsi, £250 for pattern or £85 via the owners club.0 -
Funny - I just had to ask someone to quote me for that job on the front of my Renault Clio today!
Only one side has gone, but it is best to replace both. I bought the parts, about £36 from GSF, but looked in the manual and it is a four out of five spanners difficulty rating, possibly needing a specialist tool. So I decided it was too difficult for me, and a local garage in Leeds said they'd fit them for me on Friday for £120, which includes VAT.
Not bad, eh? If anyone else needs them, they are Bankside Garage, and they are just off Kirkstall Road.0 -
Just to update you guys on the make up of the £175
labour was £86
parts was £30.26 x 2 ( I have noticed that Micra parts are quite expensive)
vat was £29.30
total was £175.82.
I guess the above seems reasonable and also car drive well since the wheel bearing changes (so i should save on fuel)I owe £3233 @ 0%0
