Hi everyone
Feels very odd not being at work, but i like it:rotfl:
OH is asleep as he is on nights this week, so i have been for a nice walk with the dogs even though it did rain and we got soaked.
Just had some breakfast, have to say chocolate cake sounds better than all-bran!!
Having a job hunt online then going to have a walk up the shop to post my sick note and to get the local paper to look at jobs there too.
The sun is just about out now, so will get some washing on, and think i will target the kitchen today and clear out some cupboards0 -
Morning All,
Happy Birthday Pink:beer:
Lou glad you had a nice rest:)
Welcome to the newbies, hugs where needed
Its quite wet here in Manchester but have still stripped my bed as it needed doing, very warm though and a very sticky night, hopefully it will brighten and I can peg the bedding out.
Already made a bolognese this morning. The choice was mince or braising steak and I didn't fancy making pies its too warm, so bolognese it is. I will meaure my portion with spaghetti and the boys will also have garlic bread with theirs.
DH working from home this morning and then will pop out with him later on a pricing up.
Much better day for me with my healthy eating yesterday. Went to WW and then also walked for 40 mins when I got back, I am trying hard. Didn't really like the meeting I attended though so will change to the Tuesday night one around the corner next week. A much lighter room and a more lively bunch. I am very affected by environment and I know I wont want to go and sit in a dark dingy room every week.
I am reading a good book at the minute by Roisin Meaney called Love in the Making about a girl opening a cup cake shop so I can't stop thinking about cake lol:rotfl: I am my own worst enemy.
Have a happy Tuesday, whatever your up to J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Good morning
We have had some rain in the early hours so the cat is delighted, as he prefers to drink rainwater. I've persuaded him that filtered water is okay as well, but he won't drink tap water at all.
Beth - Tiredmum is on holiday atm. We haven't heard from mioliere for some time, i expect she is very busy helping her DH with the house-restoring. BTW, I thought of you the other day when I was thinking how dusty my bathroom walls were looking! They've been waiting to be repainted or retiled for a very long time indeed. Not going to say how long, because it's embarrassing
Nice to "see you" csarina, sorry you're not feeling well at the moment x
Molly41 - good luck with the funding for your op x
Lou - Glad you enjoyed your break after all
Happy birthday Pink
Today I have to do a bit more tweaking of my essay, but I'm fairly happy with it now. If anyone had told me a few years ago that I'd be writing essays at my age I wouldn't have believed them! I'm loving it though, and feel I'm doing what I really should have done many years ago.
Looks like being very hot today, so I'm planning to do as little as poss, apart from some washing (can't waste that sunshine!).
Bought some yellow-stickered field mushrooms y'day so will put a couple of them into the Impossible Quiche I'm planning to try making this evening.
Hope eveyone has a good day, and (((HUGS))) to all who need some.

Good Morning OSers,

Plans for today are being rearranged to include the making of chocolate cake, thanks Mollythey also include, tidying the dining & living room & DP is going to give the bathroom a deep clean, operation DM approaching is going well
So far I've fed the cats, unloaded the DW & decluttered two cups of coffee so should really get a move on. Have no idea what is for tea probably freezer surprise as I have run out of containers so need to use up before making more & I really need to defrost at least one of the freezers to cope with the produce that is now starting to come in from the garden.
Hope you all have a good day OS or not,
