£150 to throw at it today, so a total of £450 of the £1750 target has been hit!!! Over 25% of the way there...feels very very good indeed!!
Keep going folks...this one definitely feels like a little marathon, but definitely wanna get to that finish line...even if it is crawling on my hands and knees!! Ha ha!!:rotfl:

Hope all is well, Magpie thanks for posting, I really enjoyed reading your post and keeps me going. Also well done on your total, we will all get there in the end.
When joined yesterday I worked out that in order to complete this challenge I would need to make/pad/post/send/ just over £10 a day, well I'd like to declare

morning all. checked banks and budget and moved some money around this morning. managed to pay £104.75 into savings which brings my total to £179.63/£500 paid so far.

Just signed up for 2 mystery shops in my area one is tomorrow and the other on Tuesday both of them to pretend to book a holiday so no outlay for me.
They will earn me 10 pounds each to add to the pot.
These will be my first two that I have taken up, all the others were for mobile phone shops, or computers, and I get a little confused with it all, booking holidays is something that I can cope with. (shame it's only pretend......I could just do with a week in the sun right about now)
